SMS messaging

This page describes the text-message program run through Brimmd Lead Capture. Home-service businesses use it to reply to people who called or texted them. Brimmd Solutions (operated by Dacal Enterprises LLC) provides the software; the text comes from the business you contacted.

What the program is

Customer-care messages from a business that uses Lead Capture, about a request you made: for example, a reply to a call it missed, a follow-up on your request, or an answer to a question you asked. It is not a general marketing list.

How you agree to receive texts

Texts are meant for people who asked to hear from the business. That can happen when you:

• agree on a call to the business, when its assistant asks whether it may text you at that number;
• text the business first (replies then stay within that conversation);
• check an unchecked box on a business's web form that says you agree to texts.

Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything. Sample consent wording for forms: "I agree to receive text messages from [Business] about my service request, including follow-up on my call or form. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not required to buy anything."

Sample messages

• "[Business]: Sorry we missed your call. Reply here with what you need and we'll get back to you. Reply STOP to opt out."
• "[Business]: Thanks for calling. We got your message and will call you back today. Reply STOP to opt out."

STOP and HELP

Reply STOP at any time to stop texts from that number. You will get one confirmation and no more messages unless you opt in again. You can also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT, or tell the business you do not want texts. En español: responda PARAR, ALTO, BASTA, DETENER o CANCELAR para dejar de recibir mensajes.

Frequency, rates and carriers

Message frequency varies with your conversation with the business. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

AI assistant and drafting

Calls to these businesses may be answered by an AI assistant, whose greeting says that it is an AI and that the call may be recorded. Texts may be drafted by software and may be reviewed by a person before they are sent.

Your information

We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share it only with the providers that carry and process messages for us. See our Privacy page and Terms.
